Product Description
This RAL 7047 grey powder coating is for metal electrical cabinets, control boxes and enclosure panels. It is applied by electrostatic spraying and then oven-cured to form a continuous coating.
The satin finish suits cabinet doors, side panels and matching fittings. Before production, check a coated sample to confirm the shade and the required sheen.

A grey finish that works with cabinet hardware
Grey sits comfortably alongside hinges, handles and mounting brackets. It gives the cabinet a straightforward industrial look and makes it easier to coordinate the separate parts of an assembly.

Oven-cured on prepared metal
After spraying, the powder melts and cures on the prepared surface. Remove oil, rust and other residues before coating, and choose a pretreatment that suits the metal being used.
Film thickness and curing conditions should follow the instructions for the selected powder.
Fits an electrostatic spraying process
The powder can be applied with electrostatic powder coating equipment. Adjust the gun position and powder flow for the shape of the part. On cabinet panels, pay attention to folded edges, recessed areas and the edges around openings.
