Multi-purpose matte powder is a comprehensive product that balances aesthetics and practicality. It effectively conceals substrate imperfections while creating a low-key, comfortable visual texture, making it an economical and practical powder coating characterized by "soft gloss and multi-purpose use."
Characteristics
Appearance & Feel
Low surface reflectivity (gloss levels typically below 30%), offering a soft finish that effectively conceals minor substrate imperfections. Premium formulations can achieve a skin-like or silky smooth texture.
Mechanical Properties
High hardness (up to 2H–3H), scratch resistance, good impact resistance and flexibility, passing 180° bending tests without cracking.
Weather Resistance
Formulated with high-quality polyester or epoxy-polyester hybrid systems, providing excellent resistance to yellowing, salt spray, and chemical corrosion, making them suitable for long-term outdoor use.
Environmental & Process Advantages
Solvent-free with zero VOC emissions; over-sprayed powder can be recycled at rates exceeding 95%. A single coat achieves the desired film thickness (40–120μm), reducing processing steps.
