FAQ

  • What Is Powder Coating, And What Are Its Advantages Over Traditional Liquid Paint?

Powder coating is a 100% solid, solvent-free dry finishing material that is electrostatically applied and heat-cured to form a durable coating. Its advantages include being more environmentally friendly (zero VOC emissions), producing a tougher and more durable finish, higher material utilization (overspray can be recovered), and generally offering superior resistance to corrosion, abrasion, and UV exposure.
  • What Substrates And Applications Are Your Powder Coatings Suitable For?

Our powder coatings are designed for properly pretreated metal substrates such as steel and aluminum alloys. They are widely used in industrial equipment, agricultural machinery, outdoor railings and building materials, household appliances, office furniture, automotive components, and many other fields.
  • How Do I Choose The Right Type Of Powder Coating (e.g., Texture, Gloss, Performance) For My Product?

The choice depends on your product’s application environment, aesthetic requirements, and functional needs. For example, outdoor applications require super weather-resistant formulas; for anti-slip needs or hiding substrate defects, we recommend our orange peel or sand texture products; appliance housings often prioritize smooth surfaces and chemical resistance. Our technical team can provide professional recommendations.
  • Can The Color And Texture Of Powder Coatings Be Customized?

Yes. We offer a wide range of standard color cards and support custom color and texture development based on your Pantone, RAL code, or physical samples to meet your brand’s unique requirements.
  • What Is The Minimum Order Quantity (MOQ)? Do You Support Small-batch Sample Orders?

The MOQ for standard products is 500 kg, and for custom colors it is 1,000 kg. We support small-batch sample orders (typically 20–50 kg) for your testing and validation. Sample costs can be deducted from future formal orders.
  • What Types Of Finishes Are Available?

Smooth, matte, gloss, semi-gloss, textured (orange peel, sand, wrinkle), hammer tone, etc.
  • Can You Match A Specific Color From A Brand Or Physical Sample With High Precision?

Yes. We support high-precision color matching based on RAL color cards, Pantone numbers, or physical samples.
  • What Is The Lead Time For Custom Color Development?

Lab formulation and sample approval typically take 7–10 business days.
  • Can You Provide Texture Samples Before Mass Production?

Yes. We provide free sample color cards and can produce spray-out panels for customer approval upon request.
  • Can You Produce Low-gloss, Weather-resistant Outdoor Powder Coatings?

Yes. We offer outdoor-grade powder coatings with gloss levels between 30% and 70%, meeting QUV accelerated weathering test standards of 1,000 hours.
  • What Are The Curing Conditions?

Standard curing conditions are 180–200°C (356–392°F) for 10–15 minutes (substrate temperature). Low-temperature cure formulas (160°C / 320°F) are also available.
  • What Is The Typical Film Thickness?

60–80 microns for smooth finishes; textured finishes require 80–120 microns to achieve the full effect.
