Outdoor Building Material Exterior Protective Powder always used Pure polyester powder.It resists long-term UV exposure, maintains color and gloss, and can last 5–10 years or more.
Selection recommendations
High Gloss (75 GU+)
Often used for high-visibility decorative applications (e.g., street light poles, guardrails) or self-cleaning needs (dirt-resistant, easy to clean). However, high-gloss surfaces more easily reveal substrate defects.
Semi-gloss / Satin (30–70 GU)
The most common mainstream choice. Balances aesthetics and dirt resistance, can slightly hide scratches. Suitable for curtain walls, AC outdoor units, etc.
Matte (10–30 GU or lower)
Provides a premium, soft appearance (similar to stone), extremely dirt-resistant, hides scratches well, and offers anti-glare properties. Ideal for commercial equipment with high dirt-resistance requirements.
Special Textures
Beyond smooth finishes (high-gloss or matte), sand texture is a very popular choice for outdoor building materials. It maximizes scratch hiding and fingerprint resistance, making handling and installation easier.
